MASTER POLICY

Data Collection & Processing Notice

Version 1.0 • Last updated 2026-05-16

Core principle: I collect the smallest amount of data possible to make tools reliable and to answer questions from users. Most projects are intentionally designed to keep your data on your machine.

This website (abram.io)

  • Standard web server / edge logs only (see Privacy Policy).
  • No marketing pixels, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
  • No accounts or user-generated content stored on the origin.

Published projects (the real substance)

For every CLI, library, or application I release, a specific data notice will exist that answers:

  • Does anything leave the user’s device? If yes, exactly what fields or files.
  • What is the purpose and lawful basis?
  • Where is it stored, for how long, and who can access it?
  • Deletion, export, and correction procedures.
  • Any subprocessors or downstream systems.

Until a project publishes its own notice, the conservative assumption applies: the tool does not transmit data unless you explicitly configure it to.

Currently published projects with dedicated data notices:
None. The first release will add its notice both in its own docs and under /legal/[project].
